About The Position

Chainguard is hiring a Cloud Partner Sales Specialist to help scale our co-sell motion with Cloud Service Providers and strategic partners. We are looking for someone who knows how to build field alignment, drive partner sourced and influenced pipeline, and support joint go to market execution. Whether you are coming from a cloud provider, a fast moving startup, or a partner facing sales or alliances role, you will play a key part in shaping how Chainguard grows with and through our most important partners.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a sales, BDR or SDR, partner sales, or sales support role, with interest in partner facing work
  • Strong grasp of pipeline fundamentals and experience working cross functionally with field sales teams
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and or experience in high growth infrastructure or cybersecurity companies
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with comfort presenting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and experience managing pipeline and co-sell workflows
  • Self starter attitude, you are proactive, curious, and excited to help shape this role

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CSP co-sell workflows and cloud portals such as AWS ACE
  • Exposure to DevSecOps, developer tooling, or supply chain security
  • Experience working in a startup or flat team structure
  • Experience partnering with a distributed team and coordinating coverage across regions
  • Experience with deal procurement through the cloud marketplaces
  • Experience working with cloud GTM vendors like Suger, Tackle, Labra, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Own the cloud co-sell field motion for the Eastern United States
  • Build and manage relationships with cloud field sellers and align on co-sell opportunities in your region
  • Drive partner sourced and influenced pipeline by coordinating with Chainguard Account Executives, partner leadership, and your regional cloud counterparts
  • Track and manage partner activity in Salesforce, including deal registration, co-sell workflows, and next steps to support deal progression
  • Help develop and deliver co-sell enablement materials so internal and external teams are equipped to win
  • Support joint campaigns, events, and field engagements with partners and field marketing
  • Create consistent regional operating cadence, including pipeline reviews, partner seller check ins, and quarterly planning
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all co-sell questions and requests for the assigned territory, providing timely guidance, coordination, and support across the Chainguard GTM team
  • Ensure data parity between Salesforce and cloud partner portals and serve as quality control for the co-sell pipeline
