  • 4+ years of experience scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in cloud environments, including logs, metrics, performance, and connectivity.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) for operational updates.
  • 6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Azure or observability‑related certifications.
  • Familiarity with SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs, postmortems, incident lifecycle).

Responsibilities

  • Support day‑to‑day operations of existing Azure cloud services, including troubleshooting issues related to networking, IAM, performance, and service health.
  • Strengthen observability by improving metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting across applications and cloud services.
  • Maintain and refine monitoring standards using Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
  • Review and enhance operational runbooks, documentation, and incident response processes.
  • Work closely with teams to ensure workloads meet security, audit logging, and compliance requirements.
  • Identify monitoring gaps and implement improvements to enhance operational visibility and reliability.
