About The Position

Cloud Operations Engineer and Coordinator The Opportunity: As a Cloud Operations Engineer and Coordinator, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks, ultimately how to “harness the cloud”. We’re looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer and Coordinator like you to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions. As a Cloud Operations Engineer and Coordinator, you’ll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions, triage DevOps tickets, meet enterprise requirements, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders. You’ll apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks, and use cloud service providers to further your clients’ meaningful missions. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience supporting operations and maintenance for secure DoD information management systems
  • 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • 2+ years of experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform and containerization with Kubernetes or Docker
  • 2+ years of experience managing or coordinating team activities in a cloud environment
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces
  • Experience with scripting languages, including Bash, Ansible, or YAML, and managing code using repositories or processes such as GitOps, GitLab, or GitHub
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification within 30 days of start date

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience with the Windows Operating System and Active Directory
  • Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies
  • Ability to closely collaborate with a team of cloud architects and engineers
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
