About The Position

Cloud Networking Engineer The Opportunity: A well-designed and secure network is critical to move data and enable Do to achieve its mission, but how can an organization make sure its network will fit its current and evolving needs? That’s why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network, the DoD needs. As a network engineer on our team, you’ll work with the DoD to develop a reliable network to support critical missions. You’ll collaborate with SMEs, customers, and users to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You’ll then share your expertise during the planning of the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you’ll put your hardware and software talents to good use. Requirements

7+ years of experience designing, deploying and providing advanced support for multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks
5+ years of experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multivendor network and security platforms, including Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Juniper Networks, Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and VMware
Experience in routing, switching and security protocols, including BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, STP, L3VPN, IPsec, GRE, DMVPN, EIGRP and QoS
Experience deploying and configuring SD-WAN solutions, including hands-on work with Versa Networks Director, Analytics and FlexVNF platforms
Experience designing and integrating cloud networking solutions within Microsoft Azure, such as ExpressRoute, Hub-Spoke, NSG and UDR policies, or Azure Firewall
Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture models, SASE frameworks, and SD-WAN and SSE convergence strategies
Ability to document complex network and security architectures, operational procedures and troubleshooting methodologies
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain a DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification within 6 months of hire
