Cloud Modernization SME The Opportunity: As a DevOps engineer, you know that listening to and truly understanding a client’s needs is the first step to introducing DevOps methodology to an organization. Your communication skills, combined with your technical know-how, mean you’re well-versed in setting organizations up for success. We’re looking for someone like you to bring your DevOps engineering knowledge and help our clients make a mission-forward impact. As an experienced DevOps customer success engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll not only convey the importance of efficiency to your clients—you’ll be directly involved in DevOps engineering work. Together with a team of experienced professionals, you’ll support the building and maintenance of a pipeline. You’ll maintain tools and automate configuration management and infrastructure provisioning. Using your software engineering knowledge, you’ll guide your team as they bring other organizations on board with DevOps and champion the adoption of related processes, tools, and roles. Requirements

5+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
5+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions
Experience bringing other organizations on board with DevOps, championing adoption of DevOps process, tools, and roles, and working with other development teams to recast work
Experience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure
Experience with creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
Experience with creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes
Experience triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Linux Shell Script
Secret clearance
Master’s degree
