About The Position

The Cloud Marketplaces Global Operations Manager will play a crucial role in growing and scaling the Marketplaces program with Cloud Tech Partners such as Microsoft and AWS. This position involves collaborating cross-functionally from sales to back operations to increase Marketplace bookings and streamline quote to cash processes. The role is based in San Jose, CA, and operates in a hybrid model, requiring three days a week onsite.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Experience in RevOps, Deal Desk, Sales Operations or Finance within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Experience in process optimization and improvement.
  • Flexibility to adapt to variations of projects that may arise.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational management and support of cloud marketplace programs, maintaining service levels and performance metrics including private offers, transactable listings, and subscription management.
  • Plan and manage migration of private offers to new private offers leveraging new billing features.
  • Engage with Credit Team to monitor Azure Marketplace private offers and request new private offers as needed.
  • Monitor and manage new countries available on Marketplace, collaborating with the indirect tax team for approval on new country expansion.
  • Update job aids with pre-sales consultants, Deal Desk analysts, Sales, and Sales Helpdesk. Plan and migrate job aids from slide decks to Wiki.
  • Develop expertise on AWS and Microsoft Cloud Marketplace for growth. Evaluate how Marketplaces procurement can progress deals.
  • Identify key contracting use cases at Client and determine how to contract and book via AWS and Microsoft Marketplace, including billing integration and fulfillment processes.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve Marketplace quote to cash process between Client's financial system and AWS/Microsoft platform, reduce friction, and accelerate revenue conversion.
  • Become familiar with private offer operation on AWS Marketplace and Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
  • Learn and become a specialist on Client's Marketplace program, including familiarity with product catalog, eligibility guidelines, and approval workflows.
  • Track progress and follow up to completion of product listings on Cloud Marketplaces.
  • Collaborate regularly with pre-sales consultants, partner managers, deal desk analysts, deal desk operations, legal, tax, and credit for ongoing process improvement and new Marketplace feature rollout.
  • Partner with Cloud Tech enablement team to ensure key internal teams are updated on new program guidelines and processes.
