This position reports to the Regional Capability Lead and is based in the Great Lakes region, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving cloud sales and fostering customer-centric go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years in Managed or IT Professional Consulting required.
  • Managed capability revenue objectives ranging from $1.5 million to 5 million.
  • Demonstrate strategic and critical thinking that aligns with market needs to drive cloud sales.
  • Build relationships and actively seek opportunities to expand the sales pipeline.
  • Act as an external speaker at events, engaging with customer CXOs as a credible and confident peer.
  • Exhibit strong collaborative skills across different teams and organizations.
  • Be an excellent technical leader with top-tier cloud certifications, such as AWS Solution Architect Professional / Azure Solution Architect/ GCP Professional Cloud Architect.

Responsibilities

  • Align regional capability strategies with market needs, positioning yourself as a subject matter expert and thought leader at external events.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to identify opportunities and drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Partner closely with local sales teams and client partners to develop and execute go-to-market activities that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Tailor regional or country-wide capability strategies to the Great Lakes market, considering client portfolios, market maturity, and geographic factors.
  • Drive cloud sales initiatives by leveraging market insights and aligning strategic priorities with customer needs.
  • Proactively create demand by seeking speaking opportunities at conferences and events to establish yourself and your team as cloud capability thought leaders.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to plan Slalom-led thought leadership events focused on cloud solutions and client outcomes.
  • Ignite awareness and generate demand for cloud capabilities by engaging in campaigns, RFIs, RFPs, workshops, and POCs.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with each of the three major cloud providers, collaborating with their sales and partner teams to drive joint events and customer-focused outcomes.
  • Partner with cloud provider teams to identify opportunities for co-marketing and joint solution offerings that resonate with customers in the Great Lakes region.
  • Be accountable for Cloud sales growth and managing the opportunity pipeline through closure, ensuring alignment with market strategies.
  • Serve as a Solution Lead or SME in the pursuit process, engaging broader capability team SMEs as needed to align with market strategy.
  • Participate in multi-capability solutioning and client outcome-based selling motions with the GTM team.
  • Support the development of a small team of direct reports with a focus on cloud GTM activities.
  • Mentor other practitioners within the capability area to serve the market's portfolio effectively.
  • Provide feedback for performance management related to capability team members involved in market pursuits and delivery.
  • Contribute to delivery in billable roles as a Delivery Solution Lead and/or in SME roles within the market's portfolio, with defined utilization targets.
