About The Position

This role supports a high-impact government technical development program focused on entitlement systems and identity & access management (IdAM/ICAM). The engineer will design and implement cloud-native architectures in AWS, providing hands-on technical leadership and guidance to development and mission teams.

Requirements

• BS degree with 11–15 years of relevant experience
• Strong experience with IdAM/ICAM, authentication, authorization, entitlement management, and digital policy management
• Experience with security accreditation processes
• Deep knowledge of AWS, cloud architecture, and infrastructure-as-code
• DevOps/CI/CD experience (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Puppet, Azure DevOps)
• Strong communication skills and enterprise-level collaboration experience
• TS/SCI with Polygraph

Nice To Haves

• AWS Associate-level certification
• 3+ years of C2S experience
• Experience with CloudFormation, serverless architectures, and data lakes (e.g., Elasticsearch)
• Cloud migration experience and ability to provide detailed technical direction
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver cloud solutions tailored to mission requirements
• Design, develop, and support enterprise software and infrastructure in AWS
• Provide execution guidance and hands-on engineering support to teams
• Support security patching, server operations, and AWS environments
• Guide cloud implementation priorities and best practices
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Dev, Security, Compliance, QA) in Agile/SAFe/Scrum environments
