About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, build, and manage our cloud environments across a range of platforms. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer's responsibilities include designing and deploying scalable, secure and robust cloud environments, managing and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, and implementing cloud-specific best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field(or equivalent experience and/or relevant certifications)
  • 3+ years of experience in supporting and maintaining cloud infrastructure
  • Proficiency with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Docker
  • Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
  • Experience with network infrastructure, database, and application development
  • Experience with monitoring tools
  • Experience with CI/CD tools
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Understanding of networking, security, and system administration
  • Proficient with the Install, configuration and maintainance of Linux servers

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security across cloud platforms
  • Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies
  • Automate cloud operations using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and secure deployments
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions in cloud environments
  • Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and procedure
  • Assist team with administering and maintaining existing on-premise infrastructure
  • Stay current with industry trends and recommend changes to maintain competitive advantage
