The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer serves as a technical solution driver responsible for designing, and delivering scalable cloud solutions across Emory Healthcare's enterprise and cloud footprint. This role drives the modernization of on‑premises environments by leading end‑to‑end workload migrations into Microsoft Azure, ensuring secure, resilient, and high‑performing cloud architectures. The engineer will design and implement core Azure services—including networking, storage, backup, site recovery, identity, and governance—while establishing best practices for cloud automation. A strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is essential, leveraging tools such as ARM/Bicep, and Terraform/Ansible, utilizing scripting skills in Powershell, Bash, or Python to build repeatable, compliant, and fully automated environments. This position also plays a key role in DevOps enablement, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, integrating cloud infrastructure with Azure DevOps, and championing automation across the development lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys solving large‑scale infrastructure challenges.
