About The Position

This role offers the opportunity to design, deploy, and maintain cloud and containerized infrastructure in a large-scale enterprise environment. You will work closely with development and operations teams to translate application requirements into scalable, reliable Kubernetes-based platforms. The position emphasizes automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native best practices to ensure high availability and performance. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, recommending architecture improvements, and supporting mission-critical systems. This is a fully remote role, providing flexibility while contributing to impactful, enterprise-level cloud solutions. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and focused on continuous learning and technical growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with deployment and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, and OpenShift.
  • 3+ years of experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing, including virtualization, hosted services, and multi-tenant cloud infrastructures.
  • Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
  • Proficiency with Linux systems and kernel-level knowledge.
  • Familiarity with API design and implementation.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Required certifications: AWS Professional Certification and CKA – Certified Kubernetes Administrator.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and integrate cloud and Kubernetes distributions into enterprise systems.
  • Translate application requirements into system-level specifications for Kubernetes CaaS platforms.
  • Evaluate legacy application designs and recommend necessary modifications for containerized environments.
  • Lead problem resolution for critical failures, coordinating resources across teams to restore services.
  • Architect and engineer scalable, distributed systems to achieve cost efficiencies, high availability, and performance.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools like GitLab CI for deployment and automation.
  • Share on-call and support responsibilities with core team members.
