About The Position
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Intern, you'll work with experienced engineers who design, build, and maintain the systems that keep Tinder running at scale. You'll gain real-world experience learning how large-scale cloud environments operate and help ensure our platform is reliable, secure, and efficient.
Requirements
- Interest in cloud computing, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure (from coursework or personal learning).
- Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, or Bash).
- Curiosity about infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform (bonus if you've used them).
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Learn how Tinder manages and scales cloud infrastructure that supports millions of users.
- Assist in building and automating tools that help monitor, deploy, and maintain cloud-based systems.
- Work on improving system reliability, performance, and security under guidance from senior engineers.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across the organization to support development and deployment workflows.
- Participate in team meetings, and code reviews.
