The Opportunity We are seeking a Cloud FinOps Analyst to lead cost optimization and financial accountability across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. This role offers the chance to design and govern multi-cloud reporting solutions, partner with engineering teams, and drive strategic cost-saving initiatives for a global organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or management discipline (preferred).
  • 5+ years of IT experience with expertise in cloud cost and billing for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cloud billing tools and optimization strategies (e.g., Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, CUDs).
  • Proficiency in Power BI and experience with data modeling for reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present to executive leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and advanced analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with database structures and reporting view requirements.
  • Knowledge of FinOps principles and FOCUS standards.
  • Experience leading multi-cloud cost optimization programs in large-scale environments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for cloud cost optimization across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Lead Cloud Business Reviews with technical and business stakeholders to identify and execute cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a self-service cloud cost reporting platform with near real-time insights.
  • Drive adoption of the FOCUS (FinOps Open Cost and Usage Specification) reporting standard.
  • Partner with automation teams to design and maintain Microsoft Fabric-based analytics solutions.
  • Monitor vendor roadmaps and FinOps best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
