About The Position

In this role, you will lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. You will take ownership of engineering projects from conception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and quality. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based solutions, leveraging platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. You will drive the adoption of automation tools and practices to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention, and implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) practices using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and other engineering teams, will be essential to align on goals and deliverables. You will provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring best practices in software development and system architecture, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing solutions. Effective communication with stakeholders will be crucial, as you will provide regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of automation tools and practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
