Interns are provided meaningful work assignments designed to provide perspective and practical work experience highlighting what you would do in a similar role following completion of your degree and working at the company on a regular, full-time basis. Join our Cloud Engineering team as a Cloud Engineering Intern! This role offers hands-on experience with enterprise cloud operations, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation. You’ll dive into projects that enhance cloud governance, optimize costs, and improve operational efficiency across our technology landscape. In this role, you will: As a Cloud Engineering Intern, you will collaborate with our team to support key initiatives in cloud platform management, cost optimization, and automation. You’ll gain practical experience with Azure, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines while contributing to projects that strengthen security, improve performance, and streamline operations across the organization. What we look for: Key Responsibilities Cloud Platform & Security Fundamentals Learn the basics of enterprise cloud environments (Azure preferred) Understand administration and governance practices FinOps Basics Gain knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization strategies DevOps & CI/CD Assist in maintaining CI/CD pipelines Learn automation tools for build and release processes Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Get hands-on experience with Terraform for provisioning and configuration Understand version control and environment consistency Monitoring & Observability Learn how to monitor cloud workloads and interpret performance metrics Collaboration Work with engineering and operations teams on real-world tasks

Requirements

  • Eligible candidates include rising juniors, rising seniors, and master’s students currently pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Basic understanding of cloud concepts (Azure/AWS/GCP)
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
  • Interest in Terraform and infrastructure automation
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt quickly
