About the position

As a valued contributor to our team, you will design and develop unprecedented solutions for Cloud Engineering, solving complex or unusual business problems across several projects, programs, or products. This work includes architecture, design, coding, testing, and certifying technology platforms, software, and applications. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in team building, collaboration, and facilitation of Cloud engineering in a large, multinational Fortune 500 enterprise. This individual will possess extensive experience in secure, scalable cloud infrastructure, with proven leadership capabilities. In this role, they will manage large-scale public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). The Cloud Infrastructure - Technology Engineering - Advisor role will afford you the opportunity to work as an individual contributor, while partnering with peers at the Manager and Sr. Manager levels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic cloud infrastructure plans and drive best practices
  • Design and implement cloud strategies and architectures
  • Build robust and modern solutions with hands-on coding
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud solutions with business goals
  • Stay current with cloud technologies and industry trends
  • Develop technical documentation and executive-level presentations
  • Mentor junior architects and engineers
  • Ensure integration of cloud solutions with existing systems
  • Identify and mitigate risks; troubleshoot complex issues
  • Advocate for cloud best practices and standards

Requirements

  • 6 years of hands-on experience engineering cloud platforms

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Cloud Certifications
  • Experience working in mission-critical environments
