About The Position

As a Cloud Engineer on the Cloud Operations team, you will make a positive impact by communicating with customers during incidents, identifying impacts, communicating on status page, and writing root cause analysis. You will take part in development phases by providing insights with production environments metrics and constraints, challenging design and providing improvements as early as possible, qualifying the solution for production, and testing disaster and recovery procedures. Ensuring security is also a key responsibility, which includes participating in security reviews, monitoring security tools, identifying improvements, and implementing those improvements. Additionally, you will engage in continuous improvement by identifying enhancements, participating in lessons learned from releases and incidents, implementing improvements via scripting or available tools, and optimizing processes, documentation, and audits.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong experience with cloud computing platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure
• Experience with DevOps tools, such as Azure DevOps
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes
• Fluently speaking and writing in English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
