You Are: As an experienced AWS/DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure cloud environments as part of a data broker modernization effort for military medical situational awareness. The Work: Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud environments with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and operations in air-gapped or restricted network environments Utilize a strong Linux background, hands-on AWS experience, and proven DevOps practices to support secure, mission-critical systems

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance required
  • Must be willing to work onsite 2-3x per week in Falls Church, VA
  • 4+ years of experience with Linux (Red Hat, CentOS or Oracle Linux preferred), Python, AWS and git experience
  • 3+ years of experience with DevOps (configuration management (Ansible preferred), application deployment, and security
  • Strong experience with AWS core services
  • Proficiency in infrastructure automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)
  • CompTia Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 compliant certificate

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a federal or public sector environment
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent
  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty or equivalent
  • Experience in delivering, securing and managing container-based applications
  • Experience working on Agile Software Teams
  • Experience in supporting DoD customers in a technical environment
  • Experience with government cloud solutions (AWS, Azure etc.)
