About The Position

Green Project is looking for an experienced Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer to implement, deploy, and maintain our Azure-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role is key to ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient delivery of our application, which leverages Azure Functions and MS SQL. The ideal candidate is hands-on with Azure services, infrastructure as code, and modern DevOps practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer in Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Bicep and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, MS SQL, and related Azure services.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes on Azure).
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools in Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-204).
• Experience with DevSecOps and automated testing in pipelines.
• Passionate about sustainability, decarbonization, or other ESG-related concepts
• Familiarity with SOC2 and related security standards

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure using Bicep and other IaC tools.
• Maintain and optimize cloud environments aligned with architectural designs.
• Deploy new infrastructure patterns and manage system upgrades.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or equivalent) to support frequent, reliable software releases.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate and deploy Serverless Functions and C# .Net/MS SQL-based applications, using Azure App Services and other Azure services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure best practices in Azure security, networking, and scalability.
