As a Cloud Engineer at Bandwidth, you’ll play a critical role in managing our cloud infrastructure and SaaS applications, which power the organization. Your work will directly contribute to scalable, secure, and efficient operations, enhancing productivity and empowering teams across Bandwidth. You’ll collaborate with diverse teams to ensure the infrastructure and applications meet business goals while maintaining high performance, security, and cost-efficiency standards.   • Support engineering and operations teams with defining overall solution architecture for applications hosted in cloud-native environments (hybrid, on-prem and cloud)
  • Drive innovation by using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to automate service and application deployments across on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain serverless applications and AWS Lambda functions, to support automation and integration needs.
  • Optimize Cloud networking solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues, ensuring uptime, reliability, and performance.
  • Promote cloud best practices, mentor team members, and evangelize industry standards throughout the company.
  • Extensive experience building and managing multi-account AWS environments, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture.
  • Expertise in AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, and a solid foundation in security protocols.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking fundamentals, with an emphasis on hybrid cloud technologies such as Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and Site-to-Site VPN.
  • Proven proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and scripting languages like Python and Bash.
  • Proficiency in managing and optimizing SaaS applications like Okta, GitHub, and Atlassian products (e.g., Jira and Confluence).
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance technical priorities with business needs.
  • A team-oriented approach, eager to collaborate, share knowledge, and learn from others.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes or Docker.
  • Background in startup environments or projects with ambiguous or rapidly evolving requirements.
