Our work depends on a Cloud Systems Engineer Senior Advisor joining our team to support internal GDIT operational activities while working in a remote based environment. As a Cloud Systems Engineer Sr. Advisor supporting internal GDIT operations, you will be trusted to work in our enterprise cloud environment and develop better processes through automation. In this role, a typical day will include: Ability to work on a highly technical and integrated team in support of government cloud infrastructure, architecture, and general day to day cloud operations. Primary support will be Azure Gov Cloud with secondary support for Oracle Gov Cloud Collaborate closely with Enterprise Application, Cyber and Server teams to develop and maintain a secure cloud infrastructure environment. Proficient in the automation and managing of cloud infrastructure and server deployment using code. Proficient with PowerShell, Python, Visual Studio Code, Git and common developer/cloud related tools and languages. Design, develop, deploy Cloud infrastructure using code, and test complex software as they relate to cloud automation, compliance and monitoring. Provide cloud infrastructure tier III support within GDIT, and work with external vendors to quickly resolve issues. Manage and audit cloud tagging, logging, compliance and security requirements through automation. Proficient with Azure Infrastructure, Azure IaaS, PaaS, Serverless, Docker, Kubernetes and Azure AI/ML services, and related API functions. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
