About The Position

Cloud Engineer, Senior Key Role: Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply specific functional knowledge, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. Review or guide the activities of more junior employees.

Requirements

Experience with Amazon Web Services
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and command-line interfaces, including bash
Experience programming in Python and Java
Experience designing and automating the provisioning of cloud resources and infrastructure as code tools, including Terraform or Vault
Experience with platform-as-a-service technologies, including Kubernetes
Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience developing and deploying enterprise cloud-native solutions, or 14+ years of experience developing and deploying enterprise cloud-native solutions in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

Experience creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
Experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues for GitLab CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
Experience triaging and resolving issues for both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
Experience with containerization tools
Experience with DevOps practices and tools
Experience with Git or GitLab
Experience applying cloud security principles
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Master's degree
