JOB TITLE : Cloud Engineer Senior  (Engineer - IS Senior) DESCRIPTION Fulfills customer requirements via design/build/test/troubleshoot/document activities for enterprise-class datacenter computing hardware, software, networking tools and platforms. Evaluates, analyzes, configures, and implements new products and tools while ensuring appropriate operational monitoring is enabled. Provides comprehensive support for logical networking and communications protocols, Microsoft products, Intel and midrange platforms, relational databases, and programming/scripting. Works on complex applications and/or projects. Mentors and assist other team members. JOB SUMMARY The Senior Cloud Engineer is responsible for leading the development and optimization of our cloud infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment (GCP, Azure). This advanced role requires significant expertise in cloud computing technologies, systems design, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices. The Senior Cloud Engineer will lead projects to enhance scalability, security, and efficiency of our cloud platforms and mentor junior engineers. This role is crucial for maintaining the cutting edge of our cloud capabilities and ensuring our infrastructure supports both current operational needs and future growth initiatives. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, your work will directly contribute to the technological advancement and strategic objectives of the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience required.
  • Cloud platform experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare, health insurance and health providers experience and understanding of processes is preferred.
  • Requires experience working with vendors to quote moderately complex solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of cloud technologies and tools.
  • Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop automation scripts and frameworks to streamline CI/CD processes.
  • Collaborate with IT security to enforce best practices and compliance standards across all cloud services.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
  • Conduct system performance analysis and troubleshooting, proposing and implementing enhancements.
  • Manage and execute complex projects, from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.
