Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, System Administrator, or similar role.
  • Experience deploying systems, applications, and services in AWS environments.
  • AWS Associate (or higher) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of start.
  • Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of start.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration.
  • Experience with Git repositories, pull requests, and multi-origin workflows.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible and Python CDK.
  • Understanding of zero-trust architectures, networking basics, and OSI model concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual team and positively influence team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and configure cloud services to support migrations, Active Directory, and applications in a zero-trust environment.
  • Implement and maintain security architectures for managed service offerings.
  • Participate in deployment planning, providing technical guidance to teams and customers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing cloud deployments, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Automate administrative tasks and environment management using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Rundeck, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
  • Create and maintain internal and customer-facing documentation for deployed systems.
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot application containerization using Docker, ensuring compliance with security requirements.
  • Explore and evaluate new cloud technologies to support evolving program needs.
