The Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have advance knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies, both from the IT infrastructure and IT applications perspective. The candidate must be a self-starter, quick learner of new technology (cloud infrastructure, containers, databases etc.), and be highly motivated. SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY: None NATURE AND SCOPE: Internal contacts include administrators, faculty, staff and students both within the department and University-wide. External contacts include government agencies, sponsor representatives, vendors, visitors, officials and the general public.
