About The Position

The Senior Cloud Developer will perform activities associated with implementation, integration, and support of computer systems in mission-critical response operations environment.

Requirements

  • ActiveTop Secretclearance with the ability to obtain SCI and CI Polygraph
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of experience designing and deploying large‑scale, distributed environments within commercial cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Linux-based operating systems, including system administration, troubleshooting, and automation
  • Strongproficiencyin scripting and automation, including Python and PowerShell, to support infrastructure provisioning, operational tasks, and CI/CD workflows
  • Hands-on experience using AWS CLI for cloud resource management, automation, and operational troubleshooting
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation and/or Terraform
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Docker and AWS Fargate
  • Hands‑on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab and/or Jenkins
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking fundamentals, including security groups, NACLs, route tables, and VPC architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed cloud environments
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences, verbally and in writing, to design efficient and effective solutions
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an Agile team environment

Nice To Haves

  • AWS/Azure Certification
  • Experience with compiled languages such as Java, C++, or .NET
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and participation in ATO (Authority to Operate) processes
  • Exposure to hybrid or multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure)

Responsibilities

  • Research, architect, develop, and modify enterprise-scale cloud applications and infrastructure with a focus on automation, security, and maintainability
  • Collaborate and support the planning of system and development deployment as well as meeting software compliance standards with a particular focus involving integrations and data analytic solutions.
  • Design and implement solutions leveraging modern DevOps tools and practices, including infrastructure as code, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Translate complex requirements into modular, testable components and technical documentation
  • Support the ongoing maintenance, performance tuning, and security hardening of applications
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and iterative delivery cycles
