The Data Systems Manager position under general direction directs the activities related to administering computerized databases, including definition, organization, documentation, long term requirements planning, security and operational guidelines and performs related work as required. This classification differs from that of the Senior Data Analyst in that the latter provides installation, maintenance, and support to specific physical databases.
