About The Position

CTG is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Engineer to design and build scalable data solutions within a modern cloud ecosystem. This role focuses on developing robust data pipelines, optimizing data platforms, and enabling advanced analytics using AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake.

Requirements

AWS: Redshift, S3, Step Functions, EventBridge, CloudWatch
Databricks: Spark, Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, Unity Catalog
Snowflake
Strong SQL and Python
CI/CD and Git
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
Data warehousing & dimensional modeling expertise
5+ years of data engineering experience
Hands-on experience with AWS-based data platforms
Experience with Databricks and Snowflake in production environments
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with streaming technologies (Kinesis, Kafka)
Familiarity with Apache Airflow, dbt
Strong focus on code quality, testing, and documentation

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable batch and real-time data pipelines
Build and maintain data lakes and data warehouses (S3, Redshift, Snowflake)
Develop ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL
Implement data solutions using Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Iceberg, Unity Catalog)
Integrate data from multiple sources while ensuring quality and reliability
Apply CI/CD practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
Monitor and optimize workflows using AWS tools (CloudWatch, EventBridge)
Create and execute detailed testing and validation documentation
