U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Cloud Data Engineer (multiple positions) in New York, NY. The role involves designing and developing applications deployed in cloud-based services used in data governance for computing platforms and technologies. The engineer will build software for data ingestion and data migration from premise infrastructures to cloud platforms, finalize software product requirements, and distribute engineering tasks within the team. The position also requires guiding the team through Agile SDLC methodologies, including daily scrums and sprint planning, designing application workflows to optimize data governance control performance, and developing tools for privacy validation and data scanning during cloud migrations.

  • Design and develop applications deployed in cloud-based services used in data governance.
  • Build software for data ingestion and data migration from premise infrastructures to cloud platforms.

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2 years in a Software Developer or related occupation.
  • 2 years of experience with Java, Log4j, EJB, MyBatis, Spring MVC, Jenkins, and Eclipse.
  • 2 years of experience with JMS, Javascript, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, and WSDL.
  • 2 years of experience with PL/SQL and Oracle SQL.
  • 2 years of experience with SOAP, RESTful Web Services, and XML.
  • 2 years of experience with Apache and Jenkins.
