This position involves a wide range of data engineering and cloud technologies to support the T&E data lifecycle from test planning through evaluation, blending Cloud Services, Data Management, and Software Engineering. The selected candidate will work on-site supporting our customer at the Redstone Test Center. The person in this role will be responsible for implementing cloud-based solutions to improve the collection, processing, analysis, and visualization of data to operationalize outputs from test events. This is an exciting opportunity for a successful applicant to pioneer the application of cloud data engineering techniques to test and evaluation, modeling and simulation, and experimentation. In this role, the candidate must be able to conceptualize solutions, convey complex topics to a wide range of audiences, define product roadmaps, and apply new cloud technologies to meet emerging customer needs. The candidate must be able to work extensively with cross-functional teams to achieve customer and corporate goals.
