Cloud AWS Engineer
About The Position
As a Cloud Specialist (AWS), you will serve as a lead technical operations expert responsible for the design, implementation, and support of cloud-based information technology solutions in both current and future states. In this role, you will be tasked with building, maintaining, and operationalizing infrastructure, security services, and system components in a government cloud AWS environment to deliver highly available and scalable services. You will join an on-call rotation and are expected to provide expertise and technical leadership on any issues that may arise. Our team is actively engaged in projects to migrate legacy applications to AWS, innovate in AIOps, and enforce a strong baseline for operational readiness. This role demands confidence, leadership qualities, professionalism, and integrity.
Requirements
- Demonstrated advanced experience integrating legacy platforms and applications with AWS.
- Strong experience with AIOps, including the ability to provide guidance, leadership, and automation solutions.
- Extensive background in production monitoring using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, and CloudWatch.
- Advanced capability to solve problems by analyzing available information, prioritizing tasks, and making timely decisions.
- Exceptional skills in assessing necessary activities and prioritizing assignments.
- Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations to both technical and business audiences
