Supports various teams, including product, platform, and application teams, in successfully adopting cloud infrastructure and platform services. This role is deeply involved in designing and implementing new or enhanced cloud capabilities. It brings expertise in areas such as cloud technical architecture for utilizing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) components, automating cloud management tasks, provisioning, configuration management, and other aspects of preparing and optimizing cloud solutions.

Provide expert knowledge on cloud infrastructure and platforms, to ensure our organization achieves its goals for cloud adoption.
Lead and support teams on new cloud solutions including analyzing requirements, supporting technical architecture activities, prototyping, design and development of infrastructure artifacts, testing, implementation, and the preparation for ongoing support.
Act as a technology expert responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions that directly address specific business problems.
Implementation, configuration, and maintenance of an organization's cloud computing infrastructure.
Analyze project costs, conduct audits, and ensure accurate cost modeling.
Work on cloud migration projects, including analyzing requirements and backlogs, identifying migration techniques, developing necessary artifacts, executing migration processes, and ensuring preparations for ongoing support.
Design, build, deliver, maintain, and enhance infrastructure solutions.
Implement automation strategies such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration-as-code, policy-as-code, release orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
Research and prototype new tools and technologies to enhance cloud platform capabilities.
Improve reliability, scalability and efficiency by working with product engineers and site reliability engineers.
Provide subject matter expertise for all approved IaaS and PaaS services.
Participate in planning and optimization activities, including capacity, reliability, cost management and performance engineering.

Bachelor's degree required preferably focusing on Computer Science, Information Technology or Cloud Computing.
15 years dedicated IT experience as a system administrator, cloud administrator or solutions architect.
Certification with major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and knowledge of Java, Python are highly preferred.
5 years solutioning experience with Microsoft Azure.
5 years administrator experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365.
5 years defining, designing, and developing distributed and scalable products and services.
Understanding of GCP and AWS.
General understanding of Cloud networking.
Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, applications, and trends.
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, software application, and design.
Experience using Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, or other major cloud computing services.
Strong cloud migration and data management skills with an emphasis on data privacy, data encryption and security concepts for Cloud Infrastructure and Microsoft Operating Systems.
ARM JSON or Terraform Templates - (Infrastructure as code) Azure CLI and/or PowerShell.
Strong understanding of Windows and/or Linux Operating Systems.
Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Azure AD Connect knowledge and experience.
