About The Position

UNOS is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable and secure cloud solutions within the Microsoft Azure platform. This is a technical position responsible for the technical design of our cloud environment, ensuring robust security integration and alignment with business objectives. This role requires deep expertise in cloud architecture, a strong understanding of Azure services, and the ability to collaborate across teams to support organizational goals. The Cloud Architect will play a critical role in driving our cloud migration strategy, optimizing our cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the seamless integration of cloud services across the organization.

Requirements

10+ years of technical experience in IT, with at least 5 years in cloud architecture.
Proven experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and frameworks.
Experience in designing and implementing cloud-native applications.
Expertise in cloud architecture design and implementation.
Proficiency in networking, virtualization, and storage solutions.
Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Java, PowerShell).
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Knowledge of data management and disaster recovery strategies.
Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Ability to work with vendors and manage third-party relationships.
Strong project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems.
