As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-scale cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure. You will define landing zones, governance frameworks, and migration strategies that ensure scalability, resilience, and compliance. Acting as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, you will translate business and technical requirements into robust architecture blueprints and guide engineering teams in their execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years in IT infrastructure with 5+ years in Azure architecture roles
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services (networking, identity, governance, monitoring, compute, storage)
  • Proven track record designing enterprise-grade Azure solutions and executing migrations from on-premises to Azure
  • Strong knowledge of cloud governance, compliance, and security frameworks
  • Experience leading cloud migration programs for legacy applications, data centers, and workloads
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience guiding technical teams and engaging executive stakeholders

  • Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
  • Experience with Azure migration tooling and methodologies (Azure Migrate, ASR, Database Migration Service)
  • Familiarity with multi-region, hybrid cloud, and edge computing architectures

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement Azure landing zones with focus on scalability, governance, and security
  • Design enterprise cloud architectures across networking, identity, compute, and storage
  • Lead on-premises to Azure migration strategies (re-host, re-platform, re-architect)
  • Establish governance frameworks including RBAC, tagging standards, and policy compliance
  • Conduct cloud readiness and migration assessments to define roadmaps and execution plans
  • Design high availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency strategies for mission-critical systems
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (GDPR, ISO, NIST, CIS)
  • Provide technical leadership and collaborate with stakeholders to drive cloud adoption and modernization

Benefits

  • Base compensation range of $140,000 - $160,000 plus benefits
