ADS, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Architect to join our team at our headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA, or in Austin, TX. The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and optimizing cloud architecture solutions that align with the company's strategic goals. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies and the ability to create diagrams, models, and other software artifacts to support cloud initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate across various technology departments on projects, ensuring the smooth operation of cloud infrastructure and solutions. In this position, you will manage the infrastructure for existing applications, data solutions, servers, virtual machines, and network devices. You will develop creative approaches to troubleshoot and solve technical issues, identify and vet cloud providers and third-party services, and create standard operating procedures and policies that adhere to industry standards and best practices. Additionally, you will guide cross-functional teams on using and accessing cloud solutions, evaluate the latest technologies to modernize legacy systems, and stay abreast of new developments and trends in cloud computing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud migration and data management, with an emphasis on data privacy and security. You will be expected to maintain information accuracy and security while initiating bulk data transfers, ensuring that all cloud solutions meet the needs of the company while adhering to compliance requirements such as CMMC and NIST standards.
