Seneca Global Services, LLC, part of the Seneca Nation Group (SNG) portfolio of companies, is seeking a Cloud Architect Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a dynamic and innovative acquisition program. This role involves performing in-depth program analysis and coordination assignments, as well as providing services in support of the program. The ideal candidate will thrive in a transparent and collaborative team environment, demonstrating exceptional communication, leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. The Cloud Architect SME will be responsible for defining reference architectures, standards, and interfaces for reuse across the customer portfolio. This includes identifying capability gaps and shortfalls, determining new technology and system requirements, and assessing technology maturation and advancements to ensure the suitability of developed solutions. The role also involves evaluating testing and integration requirements, costs, and activities, and their results. Key responsibilities include assisting in the design and evaluation of contractor proposed end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment. The Cloud Architect will also assist in planning, designing, and evaluating migration and onboarding plans for a portfolio of programs and data to the cloud, as well as defining security guidance, governance, risk management, scalability, and cost optimization of the cloud environment. Additionally, the Cloud Architect SME will develop data storage processes and procedures for hosting on-premises in the cloud, assist with DevSecOps, software, storage/virtualization, and cloud architecture, and support the modernization of program services through market research, design, engineering, and implementation of new capabilities. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and support teams to analyze potential requirements for modifications to enterprise systems during the prototyping and operational phases, ensuring effective testing across the agile software development life cycle.
