Evaluate and recommend appropriate GCP services for specific business requirements. Create and maintain cloud infrastructure diagrams and documentation. Infrastructure Management: Provision, configure, and manage virtual machines, networks, storage, and other GCP resources. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure performance and availability. Application Development & Deployment: Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Integrate with other GCP services like BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub. Ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance in the cloud. • Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices and controls within the GCP environment. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (HIPAA, SOC 2). Monitor for and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, operations, security) to deliver successful cloud projects. Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members. Required Skills: Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and best practices. Hands-on experience with GCP services (e.g., Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage). Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Desired Skills: Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools). Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VPNs). Experience with data analytics and big data technologies. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law. The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
