About The Position

BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft 365 environment along with Azure. Monitor cloud and on-premise resources for performance, availability, and cost optimization. Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions to maintain maximum uptime. Manage virtual and physical infrastructure, storage, networking and cloud/on-premise security controls. Administer Windows server environment. Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP. Perform system upgrades, patching, and routing maintenance. Implement and maintain identity and access management policies. Coordinate with Cybersecurity team to conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation. Ensure compliance with company policy and industry standards. Familiarity with network equipment and configuration; Fortinet, Cisco, and Meraki. Maintain hybrid cloud/on-premises connectivity between all sites and datacenters. Automate routine tasks using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell Identify opportunities to improve reliability, security, and cost efficiency. Install, configure and support servers, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless network, backup systems, storage area networks, virtual servers, desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and other associated hardware and Research and recommend changes to the cloud and system architecture to accommodate technology upgrades, improve performance, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. Maintain, test, and document data backup systems, archiving in alignment with the disaster recovery Provide support to end users, as well as cross-train IT staff. Other duties as assigned. Role may require after-hours work/support and on-call rotation as needed. Minimal travel required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or other technical field or equivalent experience as a Cloud and System Administrator.
  • 3-5 years of experience in cloud or systems administration.
  • Experience with the full Microsoft 365 stack and Azure cloud platform.
  • Strong knowledge in managing Windows server environment.
  • Experience with VMware virtualization and VMware site recovery.
  • Strong experience with Veeam.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Strong communication and documentation
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff to define business and technical requirements as well as to perform system

  • Citrix NetScaler
  • Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Security +, Server +, VMware Certified Professional, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
