About The Position

AEITS, Inc. is looking to grow its team! We seek a Cloud AI System Engineer, Level 3 , to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland area ~~~~ All work is on-site, in-person in a SCIF environment. This is not a hybrid or remote position. Clearance: Active TS/SCI with a polygraph. Certifications: None Required. Mission : Analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.

Requirements

  • C loud Architecture/ Cloud Engineer/ Platform Engineering (especially in AWS)
  • A I/ML system design and implementation
  • High-level understanding of the AI lifecycle (development, training, inference, monitoring)
  • Experience with ML pipeline development, model deployment, and DevOps/ MLOps
  • System security and networking (particularly the implementation of system security on classified systems)
  • Data engineering and data lifecycle management
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus twelve (12) years of general systems engineering experience ; OR A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of systems engineering experience ; OR A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of systems engineering experience ; OR A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of systems engineering experience
  • Active TS/SCI with a polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Amazon SafeMaker is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a variety of stakeholder groups, ability to proactively engage with these groups to understand requirements and inform system architecture decisions

Responsibilities

  • Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
  • Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
  • Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Develops technical documentation.
  • Develops system Architecture and system design documentation.
  • Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
  • Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
  • Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
  • Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
