About The Position

E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. We are building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system that will fundamentally change the design, economics, manufacturing and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Relevant certifications (AWS or Azure)
• Strong understanding of core cloud services (compute, storage, networking)
• Experience with cloud security fundamentals (IAM, policies, access control)
• Familiarity with monitoring and cost management tools
• Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, or similar)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with Google Cloud. We are just getting started!
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, CMMC, ITAR, SOC 2)
• Experience with hybrid/on-prem integrations
• Experience supporting engineering workloads (CI/CD, compute-heavy workloads)

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain AWS and Azure environments
• Review current configurations and identify areas for improvement
• Implement cloud best practices for security, performance, and reliability
• Support efforts to standardize how resources are deployed and managed
• Monitor usage and help control cloud costs
• Assist with access management (IAM), networking, and system configurations
• Support backup, monitoring, and incident response processes
• Document systems, configurations, and procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams to support cloud-based workload
