About The Position

The Clothing Sales Associate at C-A-L Ranch Stores is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and selling a variety of products, including apparel, sporting goods, and hardlines. The role emphasizes customer engagement, product knowledge, and maintaining a well-organized sales environment.

Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally engaging in assisted lifting over 50 pounds.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and engaging manner.
• Ability to learn and use Point of Sale (POS) computer operating system.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor in a friendly and enthusiastic manner and determine the make, type, and quality of merchandise desired.
• Display merchandise, suggest selections that meet customer needs and emphasize selling points of our products such as quality and utility.
• Keep shelves stocked, merchandised, tagged, and signed with appropriate pricing.
• Help at cash wrap or in other departments when needed.
• Offer and sell promotional items and our C-A-L Ranch credit card.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
