Job Summary: Examines textiles to determine quality and suitability. Appropriately prepares for next station. Directly impacts organizational sales (50% of Goodwill sales are associated with apparel sales). Essential Functions: Secures textiles from container. Thoroughly examines condition and determines whether product goes to hanging or salvage. Meets or exceeds goals and standards of production and quality. Accomplishes assigned cleaning routine. Assists in the training of workers and consumers in cooperation with the Workforce Development Department staff. Additional Responsibilities: CARF : Ensure documentation and compliance with CARF standards. Safety : Maintain applicable safety standards, rules, and regulations in areas of responsibility. Outcome Driven : Have S.M.A.R.T objectives to drive performance and improve Goodwill's value to the community. Stakeholder Focused : Work with integrity and provide exemplary customer services to internal and external stakeholders. Accountability: Have key metrics that drive performance taking a leadership role in maximizing the social and financial return of the community resources invested in Goodwill. Carries out additional duties assigned by the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or Key Holder.
