As a Closing Shift Leader at Papa John's, you will assist in the operation of our restaurant to ensure high quality products and customer service are delivered, contributing to restaurant profitability. Your responsibilities will include managing operations, executing company policies, and ensuring compliance with all laws and ethical business practices. You will demonstrate exemplary operations skills, supervise a restaurant team, contribute to sales and profit goals, and manage inventory levels while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

  • Demonstrate exemplary operations skills in all aspects of the restaurant including making quality products for customers and ensuring each delivered product meets Papa John's standards.
  • Professionally and promptly respond to all customer concerns or issues.
  • Solicit customer feedback, share feedback with team, and use feedback to improve restaurant operations and build brand loyalty.
  • Communicate, train and promote quality standards to team members using available tools including Operations Manual and Team Member Handbook.
  • Supervise a restaurant team, maintain adequate shift staffing levels according to projected sales, and properly train team members.
  • Ensure compliance with uniform and appearance standards, and coach for improved performance.
  • Contribute to sales goals by providing prompt and friendly customer service.
  • Contribute to profit goals by ensuring they stay within company guidelines and target goals.
  • Execute cash management duties and assist in managing adequate inventory levels.
  • Manage the restaurant's assets by ensuring it is clean, safe, and organized.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Successful and stable employment history.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow established guidelines.
  • Commitment to task and dependability.
  • Customer-focused with a high level of customer service.
  • Initiative and ability to take action proactively.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team.
