As a Closing Shift Leader at Papa John's, you will assist in the operation of our restaurant to ensure high quality products and customer service are delivered, contributing to restaurant profitability. You will manage operations, execute all Company policies, procedures, programs, and systems, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices.

  • Demonstrate exemplary operations skills in all aspects of the restaurant including making quality products for customers and ensuring each delivered product meets Papa John's standards.
  • Professionally and promptly respond to all customer concerns or issues, solicit customer feedback, and use feedback to improve restaurant operations.
  • Communicate, train, and promote quality standards to team members using available tools including Operations Manual and Team Member Handbook.
  • Supervise a restaurant team, maintain adequate shift staffing levels according to projected sales, and properly train team members to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with uniform and appearance standards, and coach for improved performance.
  • Contribute to sales goals by providing prompt and friendly customer service and building check averages through team member product training.
  • Contribute to profit goals by ensuring they stay within company guidelines and target goals by accurately utilizing the FOCUS System.
  • Execute cash management duties and assist in managing adequate inventory levels to minimize loss.
  • Manage the restaurant's assets by ensuring it is clean, safe, and organized, complying with safety and security standards.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Successful and stable employment history.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow established guidelines and procedures.
  • Commitment to task and ability to demonstrate dependability.
  • Customer focused with a commitment to meeting customer needs.
  • Initiative to take action proactively and address issues without supervision.
  • Ability to develop relationships and manage conflict professionally.
  • Teamwork skills to work cooperatively with others.
  • Bilingual in certain markets.
  • Experience in cash management.
