About The Position

The Closing Manager is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant's heart. The Closing Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing daily operations and keeping team members and team leaders accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service in the front of house of the restaurant. The Closing Manager's main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members and team leaders in the front and back of house of the restaurant. The Closing Manager will lead by example and set the tone that others will follow. This role is a highly developmental role that is focused on improving restaurant performance by executing Chick-fil-A's vision of being the most caring company.

Responsibilities

  • Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
  • Improving restaurant sales and financial stewardship
  • Increasing sales through operational excellence
  • Training team members and team leaders
  • Creating new systems and processes to improve restaurant performance
  • Take ownership over daily kitchen responsibilities to ensure food safety
  • Creating new systems and processes in the kitchen to improve restaurant performance
  • Inventory ordering and management
  • Ability to lead the closing of the front and back of house as needed
  • Improving guest experience
  • Assist in talent acquisition
  • Leadership development of team members and team leaders
  • Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
  • Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
  • Be a friendly, encouraging team player
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Other duties as assigned
