About The Position
As the Closing Lead at Coffee Commissary in Glendale, CA, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the evening operations of our café. This position is primarily for closing shifts, which run from 2:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to our high standards, maintaining a positive and productive work environment, and delivering exceptional customer service until the last cup is served. You will be the key figure in leading the team during the closing shift, motivating them to perform at their best and ensuring that every guest leaves with a positive experience. In this role, you will oversee the closing operations, which include securing the store, completing end-of-day financials, and ensuring that the café is clean and ready for the next day. You will also be responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages according to Coffee Commissary's quality standards, troubleshooting any issues that arise during the shift, and ensuring that all equipment is cleaned and maintained according to company protocols. Additionally, you will monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the management team, while adhering to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. This position is perfect for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for specialty coffee, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
