About The Position

We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated, and experienced Shift Leader to close the store and lead our Back of House staff during dinner at least three times a week. (Closing shifts are 2pm-11pm or 3pm-11pm) Consistent Saturday availability is required Outcomes: This position will be responsible for the following outcomes. Planning and running dinner shifts Create a quality dinner experience for our guests, (as measured by speed and satisfaction scores) Create a positive and encouraging environment for our staff (FOH and BOH) Coach and grow our kitchen staff through setting expectations and providing feedback Follow Pre-closing Procedures and prepare the Back of House for the next day Collaborate with Front of House to increase Speed of Service Oversee and execute food safety procedures (including rotation of product and internal safety assessments) Oversee and assist with closing procedures in the kitchen, making sure cleanliness and food safety expectations are met Other duties as assigned Competencies: The best leadership candidates share the following characteristics: Positive leaders who can coach their teams through accomplishing morning tasks Collaborative leaders who can set high expectations for their team, and work alongside them to meet those expectations Great communicators who can communicate clearly in an energetic environment Focused on improving the food prep experience and able to problem solve with staff Learners who are always looking to improve themselves Collaborative workers who can think ahead and solve problems proactively and reactively Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
