At Tallgrass Title, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service with a personal touch. Tallgrass Title is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Closing Agent to join our growing team! In this role, you'll take the lead in managing the final stages of real estate transactions, ensuring each closing is accurate, compliant, and seamless for our clients. You'll prepare and process deed and loan documents, handle payoff requests and vendor invoices, and guide both cash and financed transactions from start to finish. You'll collaborate closely with lenders, realtors, buyers, and sellers to coordinate smooth and timely closings. Requirements

  • Title producer license required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in title, escrow, real estate, or mortgage transactions is preferred.
  • Completion of Junior Closing Agent position requirements or 2 years as a closing agent with another title company.
  • Comprehensive understanding of real estate closing procedures, lender requirements, and recording processes.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage high-volume transactions while ensuring efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Experience with closing software and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage real estate transactions from contract to close, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency throughout the process.
  • Prepare, review, and process deed and loan documents to ensure completeness before signing.
  • Coordinate with lenders to confirm payoff amounts and verify financial figures prior to closing.
  • Facilitate closing appointments, guiding clients through document execution with professionalism and clarity
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, realtors, and lenders, ensuring smooth communication at every stage.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues before, during, or after closing
  • Coordinate and process invoices related to transactions, including taxes, HOA fees, commissions, and other required charges
  • Submit documents for recording and ensure proper finalization of deed and loan packets.
  • Maintain organized and compliant records of all closing documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with realtors, lenders, and industry partners to support continued business growth.
