Herzog Contracting Corp. is currently seeking a Closeout Engineer in St. Joseph, MO to join our team. This position involves working in a team environment with other Closeout Engineers and Project Staff, reading and understanding construction contracts, project specifications, Federal requirements, and any other Project governing documents. The role includes developing and maintaining closeout tools such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Project Progress Reports, Tracking Mechanisms, Closeout Checklists, etc. The Closeout Engineer will coordinate with Project Staff to conduct audits and documentation reviews to determine project compliance and closeout progress, assist Project Staff with managing the construction closeout process as needed, and train Project Staff on closeout tools and processes. Regular and consistent engagement, participation, and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position. Travel is required, and regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are also essential.
