About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our Structured Credit / CLO team in New York. This role is designed for candidates with 1-5 years of direct CLO structuring experience who can contribute immediately across the structuring, execution, and syndication of CLO transactions. The Associate will work closely with senior structurers, CLO managers, and investors and is expected to take increasing ownership of live transactions and client interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3-5 years of experience, 1-3 years of direct CLO structuring experience.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skillset with experience in transaction‑driven environments
  • Ability to manage multiple live workstreams simultaneously with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort interacting with external counterparties

Nice To Haves

  • Hands‑on experience with Intex (including DealMaker) and rating agency CLO models
  • Understanding of leveraged loan portfolios, CLO documentation, and rating agency methodologies
  • Exposure to CLO liability marketing, tranche pricing, or secondary trading
  • Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the structuring, execution, marketing, and syndication of CLO new issue, reset, and refinancing transactions.
  • Assist in managing the full life cycle of CLO transactions, from pitching for mandates through post‑pricing and closing deliverables
  • Build, run, and analyze cash flow and rating agency models (including Intex and rating agency tools) to evaluate CLO portfolios, optimize structures, and propose creative solutions to complex problems
  • Work directly with CLO managers, investors, rating agencies, legal counsel, trustees, and internal stakeholders throughout the execution process
  • Review and comment on CLO and warehouse documents, and help coordinate stip negotiations between various deal parties
  • Contribute to marketing materials, investor analyses, and relative value assessments used in primary syndication and secondary trading
  • Monitor primary and secondary CLO market conditions, issuance trends, liability pricing, and evolving structural conventions
  • Take on increasing responsibility in deal coordination, investor communication, and transaction management
